In a story recently reported by PCMag, researchers have uncovered an Android malware campaign in which attackers distribute a fake Starlink mobile app to secretly mine cryptocurrency on victims’ devices. The malicious app masquerades as legitimate Starlink software and is spread through phishing pages designed to resemble official download sites.
