Zimperium is thrilled to share its inclusion on the 2022 Inc. 5000 list – yet another nod to our continued success. The annual list ranks the fastest-growing private companies in the United States determined by a company’s three-year revenue growth. Zimperium has grown 252% during this time, ranking at number 2,326 out of 5,000 U.S. companies.
We have experienced a tremendous amount of growth this year. Over the last few months, we announced our acquisition by Liberty Strategic Capital, the private equity firm founded and led by former U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Steven T. Mnuchin, followed by the appointment of former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Joseph Dunford, to our board of directors. These are two huge milestones, and the support that Sec. Mnuchin and Gen. Dunford have put behind our company is a testament to the importance of mobile security and our ability to improve it for people and organizations across the globe.
Mobile devices and applications have quickly become one of the most appealing attack vectors for cybercriminals because of the indispensable role they play in modern life and the access they provide to organizations’ and users’ sensitive data. Plus, with remote work and bring-your-own-device (BYOD) becoming the new normal, it’s a target-rich environment.
Today, 60 percent of enterprise endpoints are mobile devices, and 80 percent of daily work is performed on a mobile device. With this growing reliance on mobile, it’s alarming to see that the number of cyber threats targeting mobile devices has doubled every six months over the last three years.
We have and continue to grow in order to meet the increasing demand for enhanced mobile security. Some of the most notable milestones from the past year include acquiring mobile DevSecOps technology leader, whiteCryption; entering into strategic partnerships with organizations including SentinelOne, Motorola Mobility, Intertrust, and Ping Identity; and continuing to help communities nationwide improve mobile security for their residents. Our partnerships with the State of Michigan to launch Michigan Secure and with the City of Los Angeles to launch LA Secure are the latest examples of how we’re working with public entities to provide residents and visitors with free mobile security.
These accomplishments, partnerships, and additions to our world-class leadership team have helped Zimperium establish itself as the global leader in mobile security while advancing the only integrated platform that secures both mobile apps and endpoints.
